Kanjeevram.....the Tamil Nadu weave. Here a beautiful saree, light pink , with a dark pink border, and a temple gold weave. Its from 1989. A good quality saree, will last a long time, its about legacy and luxury.

1. Silk Kanjeevaram saree - 1989....The saree has a gold temple border. Its a zig zag pattern of gold thread. Created in gold, and silk. The saree then has a beautiful border, with a blouse to match.

Old is gold, literally. My Dad bought this saree for me to wear at a wedding in 1989. Pure silk, hand made , hand woven , with real gold borders. The saree has a sheen , which changes colour when you look at it from a different direction . I am increasingly loving these old pieces.....
